If you appreciate the dance, the pretty choreographies and the beauty of human body, you will undoubtedly fall in love with the poetic photo project that we will present today. A wonderful creative work that we owe to Rob Woodcox, a talented fine art photographer who shares his life between Mexico City, Los Angeles and New York.
His passion : sublimate the human body he uses as the cornerstone of his various photographic works. In his various clichés that seem literally supernatural, Rob Woodcox stages dancers that seem to defy the laws of the severity. He plays well with thebalanced and the flexibility of these to create photographic compositions punchy and complex.
Each dancer then seems to be a piece of puzzle in a harmonic set that composes each photo of the artist. Where possible, Rob Woodcox Touch up only a few of his photos and let the talent of his dancers make its effect. But sometimes, a little bit of Photoshop is of course necessary to illustrate stagings that could not see the day otherwise. Rob Woodcox speaks about his creations and his relationship to dance:
What intrigues me in dance is its correlation with my experience as a human being. Life is always in motion and the dance transcribes it perfectly. The shapes and stories that dancers can create with their bodies make them the perfect subject for photographing and capturing the whimsical concepts of my mind.
But because images are better than a thousand words, we let you discover the magical compositions of Rob Woodcox who pay a fine tribute to the world of dance and the beauty of human anatomy. You will find more information on the portfolio of the artist.
